We offer hourly rates from 125 CAD to 150 CAD for 2 men and truck , and 175 CAD to 195 CAD for 3 men and trucks, depending on the items and quantity to be moved.

Yes, we do. We can do estimates over the phone and also do in house estimates free of charge. 

Labour, travel time fuel surcharges and insurance are included in our flat rate pricing. Only GST and packing materials (moving boxes, wrapping paper tapes or mattress bags) are not included. 

There are no hidden fees. 

Flat Rate Moving & Storage LTD accepts company checks, WeTransfer, and cash payments. Please note, we do not accept individual checks, debit cards, or credit cards. For any questions, our team is here to assist you.

If you need to cancel your move, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund of your initial deposit. For cancellations within 48 hours, the deposit is non-refundable, except for long-distance moves, where 50% of the deposit is refunded due to its higher value. If you need to reschedule, you will receive 50% of your deposit back, regardless of the move type. We understand that plans can change, and our team is here to assist you in making the necessary adjustments with minimal hassle.

Our business hours are Monday to Sunday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. For any inquiries outside these hours, please reach out via email or our contact form, and we will respond promptly.

Once you know your moving date, call us to book your move. Then you can arrange packing materials, which are available for purchase through our company. It saves you time and money, if everything is packed before the moving date. If you live in an apartment building, remember to book the elevator.

We are not allowed to transport propane gas, fire extinguisher, paints, chemicals, bleach and vinegar.

An average move takes between 7 - 10 hours, but depends on the amount of items you have to move. We charge a minimum of 3 hours (2 hours labour and 1 hour travel time). 

Yes, you can purchase moving supplies from our company.

We wrap furniture with moving blankets, mattress with mattress bags and we cover your floors with floor runners, handrails are covered with moving blankets. 

Yes, we are insured with 0.60 CAD per pound for damaged furniture and items. There is no insurance for boxes packed by the client. 

Yes, we offer insurance coverage options to protect your belongings during the move. Our team can provide detailed guidance on the available coverage to ensure peace of mind.

It depends on the damage. The customer gets reimbursed for damaged furniture or items up to 0.60 CAD per pound. If walls for floors get damaged, we arrange repairs.

Clients will have to arrange their own moving insurance coverage, if required.

Yes , we specialize in office moves and relocations.

We handle most types of junk removal, including furniture and appliances. However, hazardous materials, chemicals, and flammable items cannot be included. For specific queries, please contact us for clarification.
